Using data to discover pathways to audience.
How can screen practitioners and storytellers work with data to develop more engaging content and find global audiences?
Data is challenging and shifting the dynamics of the screen market. Today, most streaming giants (Netflix, Stan, Amazon) have adopted a data-driven approach to commissioning and distribution – with profound results. So how can we as storytellers harness this tool?
Discover how data analytics can be applied at every stage of your project, from ideation to distribution, and how the insights it provides can help drive new audience and market opportunities.
Screenworks and Southern Pictures, supported by Screen NSW, present an exciting hands on data analytics workshop with foreseeable co-founder and producer Georgia Woodward.
Open to screen practitioners resident in regional NSW, this immersive workshop will give participants insights into data analytics and how it is influencing the local and international screen industry. Georgia will share detailed case studies which provide tangible learnings of how data can be applied to the creative process from ideation to distribution.
Taking place via Zoom on Thursday 1st July 2021, the workshop will include a Q&A as well as intimate round tables in which participants will be able to explore and test how data can be applied to their own projects.
ONLY 15 places are available for this workshop, with tickets allocated on a first come first served basis.
