Screenworks in partnership with Netflix, presents the Production Portal's​ introductory workshop, Inside the Production Office.

Limited places are available by application.

The production office is the engine room of any film or television series. In this workshop, delivered by leading Line Producer & Production Manager Chantelle Mercieca, you'll learn:

·      the A-Z of screen production

·      the various roles and responsibilities of a production office

·      how to transfer your existing project management skills to become an invaluable member of the team.

The workshop also explores wellness tools and strategies to help you thrive in the fast-paced world of filmmaking.

You'll gain practical tips on how to get a job in a production office and steps for success once you get your first break. With the screen industry in Australia booming, now is the perfect time to build your skill set to take advantage of job opportunities in Film & Television.

 Attendees will need to complete the registration process and answer the questions to be considered for a place. Cost is $20 for Screenworks members and $40 for Non-members.

INFORMATION:

• Places are strictly limited to 20 attendees, please ensure you can make the date before registering.
• Applications will be assessed based on the relevance of your experience to what is being covered in this workshop.
• This course is taking place in person in Byron Bay and is best suited to people living close to the Northern Rivers as there is no provision for travel or accommodation funds.
• All attendees will be notified by email by Monday 9th October at the very latest.
• Lunch won't be provided please bring you own and any snacks and a water bottle. There will be rolling tea and instant coffee across both days.
• You will be required to bring a laptop & charger, pen and paper.
• A full agenda will be sent out to approved attendees before the course starts.
