Screenworks is excited to announce our very own Emily Hutchinson as guest consultant for the first Member Consultations of 2025.
As we look forward to all the possibilities you have to put yourself and your projects forward with Screenworks' Get Your Pitch On! with Mandy Lake in February, it's the perfect time to learn how your professional creative brand and image can compliment and boost your pitching skills.
Screenworks' Communications Coordinator, Emily Hutchinson, is an expert in content production, branding and curating a professional presence, having worked with some of the highest-profile Australian and international publishers, including Broadsheet, The Urban List, Societé Perrier, Smile Magazine (Cebu Pacific's inflight magazine), Silver Kris (Singapore Airlines Magazine), Tiger Tales (tigerair's inflight magazine), Domain, and realestate.com.au. She has also published a book, "Shared Living", in 2019 with Thames & Hudson, which sold internationally.
Through her role in the Screenworks team, Emily also has the unique vantage point of understanding the intersection between the screen industry and communications; building a filmmaking presence and brand is paramount to pitching yourself and your work.
All this experience makes Emily's insight invaluable, and you can be lucky enough to learn from her with our upcoming round of Member Consultations.
Four half-hour consultation slots with Emily are available exclusively to regional, rural and remote Screenworks members. These are open on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This opportunity is recommended for early-career Screenworks members seeking general advice on establishing and curating their image, brand and creative presence as emerging professionals. All four consultation slots are online and will run back-to-back from 10am to 12pm (NSW, Eastern Australian Time) on Thursday, 20 February. Please factor in Daylight Savings.
Bookings open at 9am on Thursday, 6 February.
