After a short hiatus, Screenworks is ecstatic to announce Member Consultations are back this September with Liz Doran.

Known for co-creating, producing and writing BARONS, which aired on the ABC and received an AACTA Award nomination for Best Miniseries, Liz's other credits include PROSPER, DOCTOR DOCTOR, PLEASE LIKE ME, and the International Emmy-nominated READY FOR THIS. She also produced the SBS Digital Originals series THE TAILINGS, which won the AACTA Award for Best Short Form Drama. Her work has reached audiences internationally, with widespread acclaim to boot.

Four half-hour consultation slots with Liz are available exclusively to Screenworks' regional members. These are open on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

This opportunity is best suited to TV screenwriters looking for general and friendly advice on their screenwriting careers or ways to progress their projects. Script editing advice on a specific project is not suited for a half-hour consult such as this. 

All four consultation slots are online and will run back-to-back on Wednesday, September 25 from 10am - 12pm (Eastern Australian Time). Bookings open at 9am on Wednesday, September 18.

Liz Doran is an internationally acclaimed writer-producer known for her work on the much-loved shows, PLEASE LIKE ME, BARONS and READY FOR THIS. Liz has worked as a writer for many drama series including PROSPER, DANCE ACADEMY, MOLLY and THE SECRET LIFE OF US. In 2020, she started Good Lark Productions and produced THE TAILINGS, which screened on SBS On Demand and Topic (US), and went on to win the AACTA, SPA and AWGIE awards for Best Short Form Fiction in 2022.
