Screenworks Member Consultations!
NEXT SLOTS: TUESDAY 29 NOVEMBER 12.30pm - 3.30pm
As part of Screenworks' Consultation program, we have not one but two GUEST SPEAKERS to host our November Member Consultations. There are five bookable spots for Regional Members to spend 30 minutes with our guests.
Introducing Louise Gough and Bobby Romia from Screen Australia - our hosts for the November MEMBER CONSULTATIONS.
These consultations have focus areas being scripted and online.
Focus areas for discussion are:
- Story Development (scripted and online);
- Special Initiatives and Programs;
- Enterprise; and,
- Can talk broadly on other areas re production funding.
These half-hour slots, which can be booked via Glue Up on a first come, first served basis, are available to current Screenworks Regional Members who would like to get some general and friendly advice on their screen careers or avenues to connect with other screen practitioners or professionals to progress projects.
Consultations will take place via Zoom - bring a cuppa! The block of bookable slots will be available on the afternoon of Tuesday 29 November between 12.30pm and 3.30pm*. Future blocks will be released approximately two weeks in advance of the consultation dates.
*One slot per person, do not book more than one time. Screenworks reserves the right to cancel bookings.

Speakers
Louise has worked on projects across Australia, New Zealand, the US and Europe. Prior to joining Screen Australia, Louise was Executive Producer and CEO at Australian Plays Transform, and before that worked as Head of Development at Arenamedia.
Louise has also held roles as Editorial Manager at ABC TV Drama and Narrative Comedy, Script Manager at Film Victoria, and was in the development team at Madman Production Company. She previously worked at Screen Australia as a Development Executive (Story). Louise has also worked as a script advisor with Sources 2 in Europe, and as an Advisor at the Berlinale Talent Campus Script Station.
Through freelance development work Louise has worked with companies including Matchbox, Screen Australia, Roadshow, Felix Media, Easy Tiger, Fremantle, Hoodlum and Blackfella Films.
Bobby Romia is a producer, writer and former broadcaster with 15 years of screen industry experience. He currently works as a Development Executive at Screen Australia. Prior to this, he was the Acting Senior Investment Manager at Screen NSW, where he managed projects and talent escalation initiatives including Bali 2002, Underbelly: Vanishing Act, True Colours, Hardball and Talent Camp NSW. Bobby previously worked as a Commissioning Supervisor and Producer at SBS Australia and NITV including productions The Family Law, Deep Water, Eurovision, Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, The Logan Project, Living Black and Awaken. He also worked with Screentime Australia, Hopscotch Films, eOne Entertainment, and Screentime New Zealand in Auckland. Bobby holds a Master of Arts in Screenwriting at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS).
