As part of Screenworks' Consultation program, we have one for the camera lovers. There are five bookable spots for Regional Members to spend 30 minutes with:
Nic Godoy from PANAVISION.
These consultations are exclusively for Screenworks Regional Members.
These half-hour slots, which are booked on a first come, first served basis, are ONLY available to current Screenworks Regional Members. If you would like to get some general and friendly advice on anything camera related, Nic is the camera guru. He has been with Panavision since 1999 and has over 20 years experience working across varied sectors of the Film and TV industry in technical and consultant roles. He is an accredited executive member of (AACTA), (SPA) and (ACS). You could talk to Nic about:
- Any technical and budget challenges you may be facing in your project/s
- Choosing the right optics - Nic can offer you a personal consultation and recommendation of visual looks to match the script and budget.
- Any advice on camera equipment requirements
Consultations will take place via Zoom - bring a cuppa!

Speakers
Nic Godoy is a highly esteemed professional in the Film and TV industry, holding a position as the National Sale and Marketing Manager at Panavision Australia. With a career spanning over 24 years, Nic has acquired both national and global recognition for his expertise in client liaison for productions’ camera departments technical and creative needs.
Having served in diverse capacities within the Film and TV sector, Nic has gained extensive experience in technical and consulting roles. His profound understanding of the end-to-end filmmaking process encompasses both technical intricacies and creative aspects.
At Panavision Australia, Nic also spearheads a range of educational workshops, mentoring programs, and film support services tailored for Cinematographers, Directors, and Producers engaged in Feature Films, Drama Series, and TV Commercials. In addition, he actively represents Panavision in collaborative initiatives and grants with societies, guilds, and screen agencies, fostering strong industry partnerships.
