Screenworks is thrilled to bring Richard Huddleston, Head of Documentary at Screen Australia, as guest consultant to meet with Screenworks members for the upcoming Member Consultations in March.

As the Head of Documentary at Screen Australia, Richard oversees the agency's documentary funding programs and resources. He also boasts an incredible twenty-five year career, including tenures at the ABC, Discovery, ITV, National Geographic and ABC America (just to name a few), spanning almost every documentary genre there is, from factual to natural history, true crime, impact and entertainment.

Maybe you'd like to know more about how Screen Australia supports local documentary filmmakers through their funding and resources, maybe you're after general advice on the development, commissioning and production of your documentary project, or maybe you'd like advice on leveraging the documentary markets here and abroad for the release of your film. Whatever it is, Richard is here to share his incredible insight with you.

Four half-hour consultation slots with Richard are available exclusively to regional, rural and remote Screenworks members. These are open on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This opportunity is recommended for Screenworks members seeking friendly and general advice from Screen Australia's documentary department.

All four consultation slots are online and will run back-to-back from 10am to 12pm (NSW, Eastern Australian Time) on Thursday, 13 March. Please factor in Daylight Savings.

Bookings open at 9am on Thursday, 27 February.
