Mark has over 25 years’ experience in entertainment and sports operations management, most recently as Festival Director of Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival in The Hollywood of the Outback, Winton (Outback Queensland), where he grew attendance by 311% over his nine years and implemented education pathways in partnership with Griffith Film School while leading the major event. Mark’s other executive positions have included Operations Manager for the 2021 Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) and 15 years at Queensland Rugby where he was Head of Operations for eight years following other senior roles. As a long-time Director of his firm MDM Consulting Group, some of Mark’s high-profile clients were major radio and television network Southern Cross Austero, Queensland Cricket and community broadcaster Briz 31.

Karen Jones of Kite Fish Film Pty Ltd has specialised in sourcing and managing North Queensland locations covering a wide range of production requirements from small nature based projects to international feature films since 1991. Her credits include the feature films ‘Wizards, Unbroken, The Thin Red Line, Fool’s Gold’ and large scale TV productions such as ‘The Pacific, Irreverent, Survivor, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of here, Amazing Race Australia, One Strange Rock’ and many many more. Then in her spare time, she is producing the company’s own original production, feature film, 'Cafe Japan'.

As an independent practitioner Lawrence’s work requires the unique ability to translate the concepts and ideas from script pages and in collaboration with almost every other department, turn them into unique and entertaining (and safe) action sequences. Lawrence is a co-recipient of the Taurus World Stunt Award 2016 for his work on Mad Max’s Fury Road as well as the SAG award Best Ensemble Action sequence.
His Qualifications and experience combined with an understanding of current film making practices empowers him to work in the roles of Action Director and Stunt Coordinator within the National and International Film Industry.

Sally Brown has worked in the Film and Television Industry since completing a Bachelor in Film Production at Queensland University of Technology in 2005. Throughout her working life she has obtained experience inter-departmentally from starting out in Production on programs in news like Today Tonight and breakfast television to coordinating the Art Department on the reality series My Kitchen Rules & Holey Moley to working in drama on the recent series filmed in the Whitsundays - Black Snow, and in the costume department on a drama series currently in production.

Braydon’s life as a filmmaker all began when his hobbyist footage was used by BBC and HBO, but the moment Braydon realised he could be a filmmaker for real was when he location-assisted the production crew from the Brian Cox series Wonders of Life . This inspired him to switch careers and go to film school in New Zealand to learn the craft from the professionals.
Fresh out of school, Natural History NZ gave Braydon amazing opportunities straight away, and pretty soon he was in the field being swooped by skuas, jumping off cliffs and chased by apes and has never looked back.

With over 37 years experience in film & television production, David has always been into sound having started his career in the news department of the local television station. David has worked in many roles for different production companies or groups developing a wide range of production and post production skills but has always been drawn back to audio. He now owns a business named Channel 6 Productions, in Cairns, providing various production and post productions service. He has a ridiculous microphone collection so can cater to most needs and owns many video cameras amongst loads of other kit.
