Screen Queensland, in partnership with Screenworks and with the support of Screen Australia, invites you to join us in celebrating the announcement of the 2024 NQ Discovering New Online Voices initiative winner, followed by networking drinks on Tuesday, July 23rd. This initiative was launched at the end of February, and the five selected finalists — Michelle La, Kate Boylan-Ascione, Garth Edwards, Shawn Drieberg, and Jannah Dryden —have been working hard to perfect their stories and pitches over the past few months.
Each finalist will pitch their story one last time before a judging panel for the chance to win $10,000 in development funding from Screen Queensland.
The winner will be announced at this networking event.

Screen Queensland
Screen Queensland is the Queensland Government-owned agency dedicated to growing a successful screen industry in the state. The agency supports locally produced films, series and games, and secures international and interstate production and post-production into Queensland.
At Screen Tasmania we are responsible for supporting and developing the state’s film, television and multimedia industries.
We provide grants and equity investments in the development and production of Tasmanian screen projects including short films, drama, documentaries, feature films, television series, video games and digital media, and provides direct support in the form of industry and professional development.
