Regional to Global Connections gives you the opportunity to have meaningful engagements with the guest speakers at Screenworks forum. Here's your chance to have that long desired conversation with a key decision maker who could make a difference to your career.
You must be a Regional to Global 3 day ticket holder to participate in Regional to Global Connections as these sessions run throughout the programme.
There are three opportunities to choose from and you can only choose one, see details below.
Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Spaces are offered via an online booking system which will go live 1pm Wednesday 10 July 2024.
Do your research to work out which opportunity is most relevant for you (have a few options in case your first preference books out) and be ready to make your booking. Details below.
Remember you can only choose 1 option as we seek to create opportunities for everyone who is attending. This will be monitored and anyone with multiple bookings risks having their bookings cancelled.
Screenrights Perfect Match
SCREENRIGHTS PERFECT MATCH IS BOOKED OUT
Are you a storyteller looking for a producer? Then Perfect Match could be for you.
A 90 minute speed dating session. Guest speaker Screen Producers will meet with delegate writers and creatives. The Screen Producer will be seated at 'stations' around the room. The delegate writers and creatives will have the opportunity to spend 5 minutes with each producer. They can choose to pitch a project, pitch themselves or make a friend. Every 5 minutes a bell will ring and the early career creatives will move on to another guest speaker.

For anyone who wants to get to know a guest speaker and their business better, maybe ask a few questions and join a conversation. There are 8 spaces at each table.
Roundtables are a discussion with an industry expert and decision maker, offering a deep dive into topics like financing, developing projects, developing your career, learn how to pitch to streamers, when to pitch to streamers, creating for online, creating for VR. Roundtables are not a pitching opportunity, they are an opportunity for discussion, and to have your burning industry questions answered.

One on One Meetings

Are you ready to put your project forward to a broadcaster or distributor? Remember you only get 1 chance to make a first impression so make sure you have your project developed, your pitch ready and your team in place.
This opportunity is for more advanced producers who have done the research on who they are meeting with and have something relevant and market ready to put forward.
You will have10 minutes in your One on One session to make an impact and ideally begin building a lasting industry relationship.
