AACTA Pitch Regional Landscapes: An exploration of the best submissions and announcement of winner
The Regional Landscapes initiative, held in partnership with Screenworks, culminates with a panel and winner announcement at Regional To Global on 31 July. Staged annually, the panel explores the five projects in consideration for development funding and support, along with a fun and informative deeper dive into pitching, screenwriting, film releasing and everything in between. Participating in the panel are this year’s judges – Belinda Chayko (award winning screenwriter and director – FIRES, SAFE HARBOUR, STATELESS), Nicole Dade (story developer and script producer – THE DROVER'S WIFE, BARRUMBI KIDS), Stuart page (award winning screenwriter and EP – TOTAL CONTROL, CLEVERMAN, THE DOCTOR BLAKE MYSTERIES), and Nick Hayes (Head of Sales and Acquisitions – Umbrella Entertainment).

Like life, this keynote is an emotional rollercoaster, filled with vulnerability and honesty - but one that will inspire, solidify creative passion and provide an overwhelming message of hope.
Lisa Shaunessy produced and shot the SBS eight part drama WHILE THE MEN ARE AWAY in Orange and the Central West of NSW. Lisa will talk about developing, producing and shooting a television drama in regional NSW; the challenges, the opportunities and the importance of location.

Erin along with Screen Australia's Margaret Ross will talk about pathways for creating and funding online content, building international audiences and how working online frees the storyteller to experiment creatively.
