From March 25 - 27, 2021 inclusive, Screenworks will be delivering the Regional to Global Screen Forum (formerly The Business of Producing). Not only will we be changing the name, but we will also be programming the event to better reflect the priorities and needs of the practitioners Screenworks supports.
Screenworks' Regional to Global Screen Forum brings together some of the screen industry's most innovative and successful professionals to share insights and advice on best practice and current trends. Guest speakers include producers, broadcast and SVOD executives from around the world, as well as representatives from the Australian screen industry funding bodies.
Held over three packed days with workshops, presentations, one-on-one meetings, round tables and networking events, the Regional to Global Screen Forum will provide opportunities for regional practitioners to connect with global decision-makers and industry influencers. The information imparted and networks created through this event could leverage your screen projects and your career.
After being forced to cancel our 2020 Business of Producing Seminar due to COVID-19, the year's rebranded annual event has been crafted to reflect the unprecedented circumstances that have impacted the local and international screen industry over the last year and the evolving opportunities it has presented local content creators, production companies, distributors and service providers.
Further updates on the AACTA Pitch: Regional Landscape session, roundtables and one-on-one meeting bookings will be announced in coming weeks.
The 2021 Regional To Global Screen Forum has two main ticketing options to choose from.
(Note: The live-stream of the event will only be from the Theatre. Any sessions taking place in the Workshop
are not included as part of the digital ticket/live-stream)
We have three tiers to each - Regional Members tickets, Metropolitan Members tickets and General Public tickets. No other ticketing options will be released prior to the event.
Full refunds are available for the in-person ticket up to Friday 19th March at 5pm. After this time individual circumstances will be considered if the cancellation is due to a Covid-19 lockdown or hotspot being announced.
REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2021 REGIONAL TO GLOBAL SCREEN FORUM WILL CLOSE 1 HOUR BEFORE THE START OF THE CONFERENCE OPENING SESSION.
